SAVANNAH PEABODY

Program Development

A native of Sparta, MO, Savannah comes by her passion for the field honestly. With the bulk of her family building careers in the social services field from nursing to DMH, Savannah was taught early the value that people with disabilities have on this earth, and how to advocate for that value. Savannah graduated from Sparta High School in 2016, where she enjoyed participating in speech and debate, while building leadership skills serving on the student council. Upon graduation, Savannah began working on her degree at Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, MO, while also serving as a General Manager at a restaurant. Savannah would obtain her degree and exit food services in 2018 to begin her career in social services.

Savannah jumped into this field of work with both feet, and advanced quickly. After rising as a Team Leader for an ISL agency in Southeast Missouri, she never served in the same role for longer than a year due to her ability to raise up teams wherever she went. Savannah would eventually help the agency launch their group home and also had extensive experience working in a day habilitation setting, often beginning her work day far before the sun came up, as she assisted in transporting the supported individuals to and from the program.

Savannah’s life long goal is to leave the disabilities field better than she found it. She works tirelessly to build effective support teams, thrives on communication, and firmly believes that in order be successful in supporting the DD population we must all work together! Savannah exemplifies the phrase “leaders eat last,” as anyone that works with her can attest, their needs will always be met before her own. Savannah resides in West Plains, MO, with her husband Patrick. She and Patrick enjoy spending time with family outside of work.

Katey has often been around clients of LifeQuest, getting a mild experience of what it takes to provide support for these individuals.
